The LCD screen is backlit in blue for an easy read in low light conditions and the fully water resistant scales give you the choice of weighing in lbs or kgs as well as including a handy 1m tape measure so you can get a complete picture of your catch. There is a thermometer function too which gives you important information if you keep a fishing diary; are there temperatures in which certain baits catch bigger fish or simply temperatures in which bigger fish will be caught on anything? Knowing the answers allows you to plan a comprehensive campaign and keep track of your progress. These scales can automatically calculate your average catch rate and run on 2 AAA batteries (not included.)
