The rod size up from this is the 7ft 6inch rod, which offers an optimal casting weight of 20-35g. This makes it perfect for all your intermediate predator fishing, when you're tackling medium sized fish on mid-range waters. The final rod option is 8ft in length and it can comfortably cast between 25-40g lures. This is ideal for anglers who tackle big predators, especially those in larger waters.The rod is finished with K style guides, allowing your line to run through with minimal friction resistance, particularly when you're fishing with a braided mainline. The reel seat on the rod is down locking, keeping your reel in precision position when you're tackling a huge take. The butt section of the rod is finished in carbon weave, which doesn't only look incredibly pleasing but also adds additional strength to the rod.
