Producing top quality fishing reels since the 1970s, Shimano is a Japanese based company with strong environmental ethics. Its product range is comprehensive, with everything from luggage to line in its portfolio. The Shimano Speedmaster AX Commercial Float Rod completes a match anglers rod set up. Perfect for commercial fishing, the Speedmaster AX rod suits smaller water bodies and ponds where bigger species hide. With a progressive rod action on the AX, the float rod can easily cope with big carp and prevent hook pulls and snags and comes in the option of either 11ft or 12ft lengths. The rod blanks are made of HPC100+Biofibre and Nano alloy which results in a very slim yet strong blank, not letting you down when battling a stubborn carp. The Speedmaster rods are fitted with a Shimano custom reel seat and Fuji stainless steel Alconite guides for great line control and accurate casts. To help with control, the rod comes with both EVA and cork handle grips. Cork is both light and insulating for your hands whereas the EVA is non-slip even when wet as well as being incredibly durable.Supplied in a nylon bag, the Commercial float rod can be kept safe with its rod tips, protected in both storage and transport.
