Sonik SKS Black Carp Rod The Sonik SKS Black Carp rod is perhaps the finest mid-budget carp rod Sonik have produced. This rod features slim multi-modulus carbon fibre blank with powerful butt section and forgiving tip which greatly reduces the risk of hook pulls. These pair to provide a sublime feel when playing the fish under the rod tip. With a custom Sonik DPS reel seat finished with a black hood and collar this rod is an accumulation of everything Sonik has to offer in terms of carp rod technology. The super slim abbreviated handle features Japanese shrink wrap on the lower end, providing superb grip and comfort. The black laser etched Sonik butt cap is an exercise in understated style; the Sonik SKS Black Carp rod looks just as stunning as it feels. Double legged, black lined SiC guides and 50mm ring patterns (on the models with greater test curves) complete the outfit. This rod comes in three different test curves which come in at .25lb increments between 2.75lb and 3.25lb. This means you can pick the rod which best suits your carp fishing style and is perfect for your target weights. All three rods are finished in sleek matt black, and the SKS rod really does look superb on the bankside.
