New for 2022 Daiwa have developed two new 10ft INFINITY rods with help from consultants across the EU. They have been specifically designed when fishing with the use of a boat although not exclusively for doing so. These rods are made in the UK and have a very different action than traditional 10ft rods currently on the market.
The blank is a fast action which is very important when placing baits on the lake bed and when playing fish at long range. We have also taken consideration about the number of guides and guide spacing and felt it was important to add an extra guide to this style of rod.
We have used all the latest Daiwa technology in the construction of the blank. There are 2 models in the range a 3lb test curve which is perfect for smaller waters and a 4lb version which is more suited to larger waters.
Features include:
HVF (high Volume fibre): This material has been developed to reduce the weight and increase the strength and stiffness of the blank. With a reduction in the resin content and more carbon the performance is increased
V joint Alpha: The technology eliminates any potential flat spots that occur at the joint section of the rod. It gives you a perfect playing action and aid in increasing distance when casting.
SeaGuide TDG guides: These guides are lighter in weight than the traditional ceramic guides with enhanced performance. The guides have a larger internal diameter size for size with ceramic guides which means line can travel faster through them when casting. The guides also offer greater sensitivity and feel and have a special adaman coating to also increasing the performance.
Japanese shrink: We only use the best hard waring shrink on all the UK made rods. this in our opinion gives the best finish and feel for a handle on a carp rod
