Solar Tackle?has been offering carp tackle products since 1987 to the angling community. They are a brand that has an unsurpassable reputation when it comes to developing and delivering high-end products and service. It is one of the few carp companies that still manufacture in the UK, meaning Solar Tackle can produce tackle that directly impacts British anglers and is attuned to the complications that UK anglers face on the bank. Ranging from baits,?bivvies?to bedchairs, Solar Tackle maintains its reputation for unbeatable quality, performance, and service.
The Solar A1 range represents the next level in alloy tackle development, starting with this Aluminium Pod that comes with a pair of A1 three-rod buzz bars, so you can support three rods simultaneously. The goalpost upright attachment for these buzz bars gives maximum stability to both bars and the?rods, making your set up secure. The pod is also fitted with an anti-twist feature to hold the buzz bars or bank sticks in the upright position so a sudden collapse is not a worry.
The buzz bar attachment is made quick and easy due to the drop-in features. This may be a quick construction but the bars are certainly securely fixed. There is a unique screw system, that has an integrated Loc-Down pod anchor point that is designed for attaching the main bar attached from the front buzz bars to the rear. This main bar is also adjustable in length, ranging from 700mm to 1270mm.
The four adjustable length legs can be made shorter and longer depending on the angle you are aiming to set your gear up or to fit the terrain, i.e. if your swim is located up or downhill. The legs can then be stabbed into the ground easily due to the pointed ends, making a secure peg. Of course, the adjustability of both the main bar and the legs means there is a variety of set up options for the modern?carp?angler to choose from.
As well as being extremely lightweight, and in an anodized, matt black finish, Solar have strengthened the areas of stress normally associated with this type of hardware. Solar assure that there is no cheap-looking plastic moulded parts to damage.
For a high-quality, made to last pod with buzz bars, look no further than the Solar A1 range.
