Smooth and robust, the Wychwood Dispatch 7500 Spod Reel comes fully loaded with 200m of 30lb braid and is designed to cope with the strain of routinely casting spod rockets with accuracy. The gearing in this reel has been super-strengthened to ensure it can withstand the repeated strain of launching huge spod rockets. The spool on this reel is large and wide. This enables you to comfortably cast out to even the most distant features that you’ve identified during your marker work – even when you’re fully loaded with a heavy spod.
The Wychwood Dispatch 7500 Spod Reel has bail arm locking technology that ensures that you’re at no risk of crack offs – ideal for when you’re casting weighty spod rockets out to key features. The large handle on this reel is perfect for cranking in your spod rocket time after time, and this is aided by the 4.3:1 gear ratio that allows you to build power and torque with ease and returns more than a metre of line with each handle turn.
Not only is this reel highly effective as a spod rod but it can also be used as a marker rod. This is due to the large and strong line clip on the reel. This line clip is exceptionally safe, which means that during both spod and marker work you are able to cast with consistent accuracy without the risk of damaging your line.
The reel is fitted with a smooth operating drag which comes into full effect when using this reel for marker work and makes it a dream to use.
