This spare spool fits the reel perfectly and has also been fitted with the same Quick Drag knob as the original Basia spool. The Daiwa Basia QD Spare Spool has been fitted with starlight holes on the spool skirt. These allows for the insertion of isotopes an indication method that is essential for low light fishing.
