Magnetism like you will never have seen before is at the heart of the
new 7HT Mag. By creating a magnetic control system that is able
to adjust itself during the cast gives you the ultimate form of brake
control which any angler could wish for.
It is called Magnofuge.
It allows the spool to hit maximum speed at the beginning of
the cast but as soon as the reel detects that
the centrifugal force of the spool is starting to reduce it activates minute
and gradual adjustment to the magnetic resistance. This is done in
perfect synchronicity with the speed of the spool and allows the spool to spin at the maximum controlled speed needed to keep in harmony with the amount of line being taken. The system is fully adjustable so you can dial in the perfect setting to suit your casting style and prevailing conditions.
There is no need for complex tuning as the MAG shares the other 7ht models straight from the box castability
and thanks to the wide range of magnetic settings
available through easy grip, CNC machined dial you
can tailor the range to suit your needs.
On the winding front the Mag offers a swift
ratio of 5.8:1, six ball bearings of which five are
CRBB’s and an improved handle design which makes winding in as much of a pleasure as casting.
