Since its inception in 1968, Middy has been at the forefront of match tackle. Middy produces a diverse range of innovative essential that match anglers enjoy internationally. The company began life creating a range of floats, initially for family personal use which was then build on for commercial success. Today the business is still producing innovative match tackle, and has a number of unique patents under its name, including Shotgun Feeders, StarGrip accessories, and Trick'Em floats. The XI20-3 package from Middy has been specially built to slot in-between the XT15-3 (which is an excellent very strong commercial carp pole) and the XP35-3 (a competition silverfish pole with a rating of 18 elastic). The price of this XI20-3 sits nicely between the two, making it accessible to many anglers. The XI20-3 pole is rated to 20 elastic and is the perfect competition all-rounder. Measuring at 14.5 metres long, this Middy Reactacore combines good strength with rigidity and balance. The weight is evenly distributed to making holding the long pole easy. No tired arms here. The Middy XI20 is built with many of the features you would see on the higher-priced models and has the new 'Maximus Wrap' joints to keep the connection points of the pole strong when extended. Features include the 'Depth-Line' which allows precise fishing in the main 2-3ft depth zone. The Max22 Karp 2-Kits included are slightly longer than the new 'Ultra-Control' kits you get with the higher-priced models and they are ideal for bigger carp, but if you wish to buy 'Ultra-Control' kits additionally then they are compatible with this Middy pole. The real beauty of the new Reactacore range is that all the sections and kits are backwards compatible with the previous Shock-Core and Nano-Core ranges, saving you money on more tackle. So for a pole that offers a multitude of features at an affordable price, look into the XI20 from Middy.
