If your looking for a well priced all round pole then you won't go far wrong with the Middy is the XI 20 Reactacore?pole, available in 13.5m 14.5m and 16m package deals. You get 5 top kits and a cupping kit as part of the deal.
I had the pleasure of getting my hands on the XI20 and was very impressed with it, well balanced even at its full length.?
With a rating of 18 elastic, is still very much a competition silverfish pole, even though it can handle carp when required by using the Max 22 top kits.?
Built with many of the features, the XI20 has the new 'Maximus Wrap' joints as well as kits?'Depth-Line' markers on the top kits to allow precise fishing in the main 2-3ft depth zone. Middy have also added dome top eva?to the 4th and 5th sections for extra protection. You will also find that the pole is Spine a lined helping to give the best possible performance.
The Max22 Karp 2-Kits included are slightly longer than the new 'Ultra-Control' kits you get with the higher priced models and they are ideal for bigger carp, but if you wish to buy 'Ultra-Control' kits additionally then they are compatible.
In fact, the real beauty of the new Reactacore range is that all the sections and kits are backwards compatible with the previous Shock-Core and Nano-Core ranges so if your treating your self to an up grade all your original?top kits will fit.
