Drennan Acolyte Carp 16m Pole Again a purpose built pole for carp and commercial fisheries this state-of-the-art pole has also been designed in conjunction with five times World Champion Alan Scotthorne. In fact Alan lent his 1st prototype to his son Oliver for some serious summer bagging and couldnt get it back. So we built him another. Built on the same high-spec mandrel as the Acolyte Pro but utlising different carbons and resins to make an even more durable pole with increased section strength. Although we would never claim any pole to be indestructible the Acolyte Pro Carp is extremely strong and powerful and easily capable of withstanding the rigours of repeatedly catching bags of hard-fighting carp.0 Review
