Fantastic brolly and fantastic price. As I write this I see Tackle Tarts are now out of stock, I’m not surprised….
After my old brolly died I started looking for a replacement. I didn’t want a ‘brolly system’, as I already have a Wychwood brolly, which I love, but wanted a smaller, lighter option for one day sessions. A big plus is the rear pegging option, which made the Solar large brolly a major choice, as I can peg the back and raise the front, higher than normal, so I can move around standing up fully with no bending, saving my back. And it’s massive, got all my gear underneath, with the central pole in the alternative setting, leaving me able to sit right back, and the canopy still covering my legs. One tiny niggle though; Solar could have added a strap to the carry bag, because it’s slippery to hold in one hand.
