Similar to the Defender Bivvy, the JRC Defender Peak Bivvy has the same updated shape for space efficiency yet includes a peaked front for additional doorway protection. The tough 5,000HH 210D PU coated polyester fabric provides high levels of water resistant protection and is combined with taped seams throughout for enhanced durability. There are two rigid, 5 section 16mm lightweight aluminium poles and a tough and lightweight Velcro-in groundsheet along with tension bars. This bivvy includes a front door system in a 2 way letter box style with a roll back front option with buckle retainers. There are also 3 door window options, including green, clear PVC and mozzi mesh. There is mozzi mesh ventilation also included at the back of this bivvy. The pegging points are reinforced to ensure the pegs stay firmly in the ground and ensure maximum stability once the bivvy is erected. The bivvy is supplied with heavy duty T-pegs that are designed to hold tightly in the ground with a superior grip. The peaked design is at the front of the bivvy and this gives a slight roof over the front door area. This will give additional protection from rain, wind and will also keep you and the front of the bivvy shaded from hot sunshine.
