About The Tackle Tavern
A Little Bit of History.
The Tackle Tavern was established in 2018, with the doors to the Bicester Store opening on Sunday 31st April. We opened the store following several years experience trading in used fishing tackle as a side project and a passion for carp fishing. Fed up of the desk job it was time to wake up looking forward to our days. It’s clear in modern day tackle shops a lot of the important, traditional aspects have been lost. We are striving to re-introduce a little of that personal approach. So hey presto, the Tackle Tavern was born.
What We Offer Aside from a Good “Cuppa”.
The Tackle Tavern is a proper “Walk In” Tackle Shop where you can come, have a cup of tea and feel comfortable asking us for advice, we know some tackle shops can feel daunting and sometimes you feel you are asking a silly question but here at The Tackle Tavern we really pride ourselves on providing a friendly service and will happily spend time advising you as best we can.
Moving with the times we thought it was essential to open the online store, we’ve designed it to be as clean and as easy to use as possible. As anglers our selves who have previously used other shops websites we know how frustrating they can be to navigate, fingers crossed you agree this one is fairly simple!
Whether buying online from us or in store, rest easy with the knowledge that if anything was wrong with goods you purchased or the order itself we will ensure this is put right in good time.
