Established into the fishing industry in the 1970s, Shimano has been producing top quality fishing reels and tackle for over 50 years. Every piece of tackle is made in the hope to create the authentic fishing experience for every angler.
The Shimano TX-2 Stalker Rod is 9ft in length and boasts a test curve of 3lbs. This flexibility is achieved thanks to the blank making process that all the TX 2 rods go through. The XT60 method results in a Carbon Rod Material that is both incredibly strong and slim to add the finesse required to carp fishing.
The rod comes in two sections, sporting a transport length of 187 cm and comes packs in a cloth bag to keep the rod safe from scuffs or minimal impacts during transportation.
Perfect for freshwater carp fishing, the 2.74m rod length ensures the tight-knit swims are accessible and the movability required when fishing from a boat is met. To help with grip, the rod comprises of two handle materials. The rear grip material is a thin rubber whereas the front grip where your hands are likely to be is made from EVA, an incredibly comfortable, yet durable material.
The Shimano carp rod sports six SiC ceramic guides to help control your line with those bold casts. To further support casting with confidence, the guide frame material is made from incredibly strong stainless steel. To accompany the guides, the rod also features a Fuji DPS reel seat.
