More Info

Drennan Red Range Carp Waggler Rod Designed with commercial carp fishing in mind, this red range of carp rods from Drennan has a unique dark burgundy finish that really makes it stand out on the bank. The rod is available in two lengths, both of which have a balanced and lightweight carbon blank that offers a smooth and progressive action. This action allows you to have good control over floats and line action, whilst simultaneously giving you power over a hard fighting carp. Drennan has achieved this whilst maintaining a responsive tip. This gives you the versatility to be able to effectively play smaller silverfish, tench, and bream, too. These Red Range Carp Wagglers are the ideal tool for repetitive pellet waggler casting. The 11ft rod is designed for fishing in tighter swims, where you're likely to have restricted casting and fishing playing room. This means that this version of the Red Range Waggler is the ultimate tool for close range work and it can cast a huge range of floats, up to 5g. The 12ft version can cast larger floats, up to 8g, with incredible accuracy. This makes it the perfect tool for larger waters where you might require a little extra distance in your cast. Both rods are fishing with a combination cork and duplon handle, a screw down reel seat, and a handy hook keeper ring. Drennan is England's top tackle company - as termed by five times World Champion Alan Scotthorne. Established in 1967 when Peter Drennan began producing floats out of his mother's garage, the company has experienced a steady growth over the past 50 years and now produced more than 2500 unique products for tackle shops up and down the country. Although Drennan is now international, all product research and development still occurs in the UK. This means that all the tackle the company produces have been designed and developed with British anglers, and the challenges they face, in mind.
