The Hi-'S' Feederlite is available in 10' 11' and 12'. Primarily designed for Bream and Skimmer fishing up to the 40m mark these feature lighter and more progressive actions. Made from Low Resin 40t and 46t aerospace-grade carbons make them extremely light yet strong and they feature our Perdurable blank finish for many years of service.
The Feederlites are well suited for the use of cage feeders and window feeders up to 30g and also smaller Hybrid and method feeders. Perfectly at home with monofilament but also for the use of braided main lines in common use when targeting skimmers and other silvers where bites can be very subtle.
Available in three lengths to suit situations, the 11' version represents the all-round tool whilst the 10' is best suited to confined swims with bankside vegetation and overhead trees whilst the 12' gives better casting due to the bigger arc.
As with the rest of the Hi-'S' Ranges, they come with Hollow Carbon quiver tips. We have designed lighter tips for these rods with ratings of ?oz and ?oz to suit the delicate bites of skimmers and other silvers and also when using braid.
We have used the same Fuji reel seat on these feeders to allow more feel through the blank from the hollow tip and the rest of the fittings complement this perfectly. Anti-frap guides are fitted since the design is less prone to the reel line or shock leader catching the butt guide or any intermediate and causing a crack-off.
We are currently developing a range of lighter glass quiver tips especially suited for the Feederlites for targeting roach and other smaller silvers and for when things get tough in the winter. These will be available shortly.
