As the name suggests, these socks have been designed with Coolmax technology throughout, ensuring that they have impressive wicking properties. Wicking is the process of removing water from the surface of the skin, ensuring that any sweat is absorbed quickly and then evenly dispersed around the sock for speedy evaporation, keeping your foot comfortable and dry. After all, sweaty or clammy feet can be a real distraction on the bank and the last thing you want to do is to remove your boots to air your feet only to be faced with a huge take on your fishing rods, leaving you fumbling with your footwear rather than responding to your rods!The heel and the toe of the Trakker Coolmax Socks have been manufactured from Cordura. This is a heavy duty fabric which has been designed with durability in mind. As such is it resistant to the kind of friction that you might expect to experience as someone who is on their feet all day on the bank, ensuring that you don't have to worry about holes forming in your socks. The toes seam is extra thin, too. This has been precision stretched to reduce the potential for blistering to an absolute minimum. Similarly, the top of the sock and around the calf area, the sock has been manufactured with Airtex Cool-vent fabric. This is a heavily perforated fabric which significantly helps to improve breathability in the sock, further improving your comfort on the bank. Finally, the sock has been manufactured with elastic grip sections and has lycra impregnated throughout, helping to improve sock support, and it has been finished with an in-turned welt (or cuff) for a relaxed and comfortable fit.The sock is available in two sizes. The smaller sizes seven to nine (EU sizes 40 42) are ideal for the younger angler, as well as for the angler with smaller feet. The larger sizes 10 12 (EU sizes 43 45) are ideal for the angler with larger feet as well as the angler who likes a looser fitting sock.
