With over 40 years of experience in performance textiles, Vass is a bespoke textile company, manufacturing and distributing high quality workwear and rainwear to stockists up and down the country. With a wide range of boots, waders, and other clothing items in its catalogue, it is the brand that will keep you dry by the bank.
The Team Vass Khaki Edition of the Bib and Brace offer unlined lightweight waterproofs, unlike no other. Vass has used the technology from its lightweight Sea Fishing waterproofs, designed and tested for the harshest condition for upgraded performance, reliability and comfort in fishing clothing.
Ideal for the professional and active angler, desiring weather protection without the restriction of non-stretch or bulky clothing, the Edition 4 of the Winter Bib and Brace includes an extended area on the front, side and reverse to supply additional water protection. Made from Vass-Tex 176 Waterproof, Windproof and Breathable material, the fabric offers stretch and well as keeping you dry. It also has quad welded waterproof seams paired with the outer material, meaning it will not absorb the water, keeping you lightweight when spending prolonged time in wet climates.
Unlike many other bib and brace garments, the Vass winter edition offers a metal-free construction to ensure no parts corrode during use. The fabric is double reinforced on the knees with uses the heavier duty 'Vass-Tex 400 PV Carbon' material.
Even with reinforced areas and waterproof seams, accidents still occur but fear not as accidental damage can be easily repaired as these come with Vass repair instructions with tips to keep your Vass kit in top health such as; if garment is dirty on the inside, wash inside out, do not wash over 40C temperature in the washing machine and avoid using detergents containing Chlorine or bleach as this can affect the coating of the fabric.
Another top tip for Vass clothing is to not leave it exposed to prolonged periods of sunlight or UV light when you are obviously not wearing them. Pack them away or leave in a shelter as UV may damage the performance and strength of your clothing.
The waders include quick-release brace buckles with box stitch reinforced securing loops and comes in several sizes. Choose from Medium (waist to fit 32-34 inch), Large (waist to fit 34-36 inch), XLarge (waist to fit 36-38 inch) and XXL (waist to fit38-40 inch).
