Nash Titan T1 and Titan T2 Heavy Duty Groundsheet.
Titan: a legendary name for a legendary product. If you've been on the carp fishing scene for any length of time then you'll be well aware of the Nash Titan bivvy range. The first incarnation of the Nash Titan was released some 25 years ago and it was quick to become a cult classic. The name is still famous on the bank for its exceptional all weather protection and for the past several years the Nash brand has been inundated with requests for a re-mastered version of the iconic shelter. Now there are four brand new Titan bivvies on the market. Two of the bivvies have been designed for the roving angler, the TC and the TC Pro, and these models have been manufactured with agility and mobility in mind. The final two bivvies in the range best resemble the classic Titans and are designed for the session carper: the T1 and T2 Titans.
The T1 is the one man model in the range and it has been designed with your comfort and convenience in mind. It boasts a compact footprint which can fit into even the smallest of swims and its brand new frame design ensures that you're able to push your bedchair flush against the flat back of the bivvy, enabling you to maximise the internal space available to you. The T2 is the two man Titan. It boasts enough room for two bedchairs side-by-side with a large central corridor. This makes it the ideal model for the carp angler fishing in the continent with a friend, as well as for the angler who likes to take plenty of gear with them.
This is the Heavy Duty Groundsheet, which has been purpose designed for the Nash Titan T1 and T2 bivvies. Manufactured from a heavy duty PVC material, this is the perfect addition to your bivvy setup if you're an angler who regularly finds themselves on damp swims of fishing in less than pleasant conditions. As UK anglers, this description of life on the bank is likely to apply more times than not, so a groundsheet is an essential bivvy accessory.
The Nash Titan T1 and T2 Heavy Duty Groundsheet works to prevent any damp rising into the bivvy and creating condensation. Anglers often complain about condensation waking them in the night, especially during the winter months, and are advised to invest in an overwrap. Nine times out of 10, however, these same anglers will have removed the groundsheet from their bivvy in an attempt to save weight when barrowing to and from the bank. A groundsheet is a lightweight in comparison to the standard overwrap and it significantly reduces the risk of condensation by trapping the damp from the ground underneath the bivvy, rather than allowing it to rise and condense on the roof of the bivvy.
What's more, your Heavy Duty Groundsheet will also help to preserve warmth inside the bivvy, as it forms another barrier against cold incursion. Both the Nash Titan bivvies come supplied with an inner mesh capsule. This groundsheet can either be used underneath the capsule, which is ideal in the coldest conditions when you want to be confident that your time on the bank will be condensation free, or it can be fitted when the capsule is not in use. This ensures that you're protected against the ingress of bankside bugs even when you're fishing without your mesh capsule, making this groundsheet ideal for year-round use in your bivvy.
