Trakker MC-60 Brolly

With lots of anglers on the bank competing for the same fish, mobility has never been more important. However, many anglers find themselves left to setups that, although perfect for a longer session, are far too much when you need to quickly pack-up and go. This is where the?Trakker?MC-60 Brolly really plays its hand and this is the ideal shelter for the highly mobile angler who expects to be moving two or three times in a single day session.

One of the best things about the Trakker MC-60 Brolly is that it is easy to carry between swims. Weighing in at only 4.1kg (without quicksticks and pegs, add an extra 1kg for total carry weight) this brolly can be strapped to the side of your rod sleeve and carted between swims with ease. This is ideal for the angler who doesn't like to take a?barrow?down to the bank for their shorter sessions and it enables you to really pare down your equipment so you're only left with the gear you really need. AS the name suggests, the brolly has a classic 60 inch frame. This enables to you fit a standard sized bedchair under it comfortably (please see image, bedchair for illustration purposes only). In fact, this brolly feels considerably more spacious than traditional 60 inch brolly systems due to its space saving frame. The spoke system on the Trakker MC-60 Brolly has been modified in order to provide optimal interior room, either for your?bedchair?or your day?chair?and all your?luggage.

The brolly also features a number of classic features which you will have come to expect from a premier Trakker product. One such feature is the storm sides, which are fixed into position with pegging and twin 24 inch quick sticks. These provide the angler with excellent additional protection from the elements, which is ideal if you want to be able to hit the bank no matter the conditions. It also features a single rod strap on the front of the brolly. This is useful for securely retaining your rod whilst you redo your rig, so you never have to worry about it slipping and causing damage to either you or the brolly.

However, where the Trakker MC-60 Brolly really stands out from the crowd is when you consider its optional extras, all of which are available to purchase separately. The first of these optional extras is a mosquito mesh front panel, which can be attached to the brolly via the use of a heavy duty elasticated zip which runs along the front of the brolly. You can also use this heavy duty zip to attach a full infill panel. These panels allow you to customise your brolly setup for the time of year, providing you with additional protection from the elements in the winter or from the bites of nasty and annoying bugs in the summer. You can also purchase a three-quarter groundsheet, which fits neatly into the brolly and allows you to place your luggage down on a dry surface should you arrive on the bank after a heavy rain. The final premier feature of the brolly is the optional centre pole, which screws into the main central boss. Although it is possible to erect the brolly without this centre pole, the pole makes erection incredibly quick and simple. You can leave this central pole in the brolly once erected, provided you are not also using a bedchair, and it is the ideal addition for the angler for whom speed is imperative. The infill panel, mozzie mesh, three-quarter groundsheet, and central pole are all available for purchase separately and do not come supplied with the brolly.
