The unique selling point of the Avid Carp 2 Man Ascent Bivvy is how rapidly it can be erected given its substantial size, making it the perfect bivvy for any two-man fishing trip, or perhaps the perfect accomplice for a week long one-man trip to the continent when you need the extra space for a weeks' worth of gear. Constructed from 10,000mm hydrostatic head material and fitted with an extra-large storm peak the Avid Carp Ascent bivvy will stand strong regardless of what the weather throws at it, you will be able to hunker down away from the elements safe in the knowledge you will remain dry.
Adaptable to any season, the Ascent 2 Man is fitted with clear and mosquito mesh panel options at the front of the bivvy to allow you to be flexible to all weather conditions. In the height of summer you could even roll the front of the bivvy up and have a completely open front face, it would certainly give you a better view out over your venue of choice.
In the winter months an overwrap is available (sold separately) the wrap will minimise condensation and add another layer of defence, maximising heat retention and ensuring you stay warm and dry. Dual-zipped doors allow you to create a letter box opening in order to keep a look out for rolling carp across the lake
But perhaps the jewel in the crown in terms of the Ascents flexibility is the panoramic mosquito mesh window which spans the entire rear of the bivvy, acting as air conditioning in the summer months, allowing air to pass freely through your bivvy, keeping you and your bivvy mate cool and comfortable.
The Avid Carp Ascent utilises colour coded tension straps and an external pole layout assist with assembly and give you more room inside. The bivvy also comes with a clip in heavy duty groundsheet and rod retention bars which come in handy when adjusting your rig or hookbait.
The Ascent bivvy comes supplied in its own carry bag complete with heavy duty ground pegs, to ensure your home away from home stays fastened to the bank in all manner of weather conditions. For a 2 man bivvy the Avid Carp Ascent is remarkably compact once packed away and will not take up mountains of space in the car or at home.
